I had to post these two pictures by Maddie. She is quite the little artist. One is titled "Daddy cooking a hot dog on the grill" and the other is "Pop Pop fishing." I think she's pretty good for a three year old.

Happy Memorial Day! Maddie's idea of a perfect day is playing in the kiddie pool and eating corn on the cob. She exclaimed today, "This is the best corn I've ever had!"

Today we went to a barbeque with the Monsons and Meyers. Both Maddie and Jake loved the pool. Madeline even jumped off the side into Daddy's arms by herself. (Before she needed to hold on to his hands to jump.) Brent got a workout playing with Madison and Mallory in the pool while the rest of us looked for shade and cool drinks! It was 95 degrees today so the pool was perfect!

Here's Jake on the day he was baptized. I'll add some more pictures when I get them from Stephanie. He is 6 months old today! He can almost sit all by himself and he can scoot around a little bit when he's on his tummy. His favorite person is his big sister (even after she bit him on the fingers)! She makes him giggle and laugh, and he's always interested in what she is doing. He weighs 19 lbs 12 oz now!

Oh what child doesn't love to spend her or his birthday at Chuck E. Cheese? Brent and I have decided to never eat the pizza there again however. It isn't good and Maddie doesn't really like pizza anyway. I've been remembering back to the day Maddie arrived three years ago. Everyone told me that it would go fast and it is!

Today we celebrated Madeline's birthday. We had family and friends over for some burgers, brats, and of course cake! Maddie loved swinging at the pinata and riding her bike.

Maddie loves all of the babies, especially Jake! This morning Maddie was talking about fishing for the "elusive muskie" with Pop Pop. Jake can now push his chest all the way off of the floor. I can't believe that soon he could be crawling!
