Maddie and Stella

Today we went to a BBQ to see our friend Kate. Here's a picture of Maddie and Kate's niece Stella. They had some fun together, enjoying the chocolate brownies and also throwing Sandy's wine corks down the basement steps.

I was browsing through some pictures, and I found these two of Jake taken by Steph. They were taken in early March and I love them!

Egg Hunt!

Our second stop on Easter was at John and Diane's. Maddie had fun looking for more eggs outside with Allyson.

Today we celebrated Easter first at the Robinson's. Here's Jake having fun with Auntie Deb.

Here's Brian and Bridget with the Jakester. Maddie was busy looking for her eggs with Grandpa. The highlight of the day was when Maddie was flying her new kite and she let go! It flew up into the trees and the end caught on a very tall pine tree! We sat watching the kite fly above the trees until Grandpa decided to get the truck and a ladder and Uncle Brian climbed up with a fishing pole for the rescue!

Here's Maddie going to her first big girl Birthday party at the neighbor's. She was very excited. At the party they played games like, pin the crown on Barbie or the unicorn, and egg on the spoon race. Maddie's favorite part was eating cake and ice cream of course!

I LOVE PEARS! Despite this picture Jake did love his first taste of solid food. He's crying because I took the food away to take his picture!

EASTER EGGS!



Tonight we colored our Easter eggs. Maddie liked putting stickers on hers and dunking them into the different colors. It was fun.

DON HO!
Tee Tees (Auntie Steph) bought Jake and Maddie cute Hawaiian outfits on Spring Break. Steph unfortunately had a touch of the flu on her vacation, but she still got out to see much of the beautiful sights.

This weekend we went to The Edge Waterpark in Duluth with the Robinson clan. It was our Christmas present from Butch and Margie and it was a lot of fun. Maddie loved playing in the water with her dad and floating down the lazy river with Grandma and Grandpa. Jake didn't get in the water, but he loved watching all of the action. Both Brent and I tackled the waterslides. I decided one time down the "Green Hornet" was enough for me however.

Here's Maddie's long hair. I find myself missing it! At least when the sides grow back out then we can give her a really cute bob that otherwise I might have been too cowardly to try.

Maddie's Mullet! On Saturday we were out celebrating my 30th b-day and while Maddie was at the neighbor's, Abby who's four, decided to play beauty shop with Maddie. Abby cut her own hair too! Oh well- it will grow back. Quickly I hope!
My birthday was really fun. We went out to eat and then to ACME Comedy Club. I think everyone had a good time.
